Beach Pebble Earrings

Did you ever get a rock tumbler for your Birthday or Christmas? I always wanted one, But when the holiday came around I always needed something else. These earrings are made from polished beach pebbles. Simple, casual, and dangly.

I have a new book!

When I find these treasures it reminds me of being a kid. I will use a book with such enthusiasm and excitement when it is new. Then I tire of that book and go in search of a new one. I will come back to a book from time to time. It never holds that same magic as when first discovered.

My newest treasure is "Insects" it is a text book by Golden from 1960. The line drawings are great. I have a love of bugs, beetles, spiders etc... Anyone else crazy about bugs?

Tree of Life Mosaic

I found a great vintage book containing some pretty amazing illustrations. The square tiles are made form images in the book. I hand carved the clay to make the leaves.

Fabric Flowers

I sat at the counter hand painting these flowers the other night. I then stitched vintage beads in clusters in the center. I can't decide, should I turn them into hair pieces or should I design some cotton tops to stitch them on? hmmmm
