Matching up beads

I collect beads...glass beads, chandelier beads, wooden and bone beads. I search thru flea markets and antique fairs. I got a giant jar of beads at Brimfield and I am finally getting around to matching beads from the jar up. It's fun to pick each bead up and take an individual look at it. I have been seeing them as a collective whole for a long time.... I made some into earrings this morning...

Earth Tones Bronze Silk Flower

This shawl is in chenille, wool, faux fur and mixed textured yarns. The silk flowers are made from vintage interior design fabrics.

Hand Knits

I have started knitting again. I can only knit when I live in a northern climate. Those 4 years in Florida were too hot, and I am looking forward to fall. These scarf/shawl are made with yarn left over from custom orders. I am going to start work with some beautiful Italian mohairs and hand dyed wools from NH. The roses are made from vintage interior design fabrics and beads.
