Skeleton bones and pearls
My favorite vintage dictionary never stops entertaining me. I made this charm from the anatomy section. I love the mix of something elegant and refined, pearls, with bones and oxidized metal.
I would love to see your golden. I saw in your profile you have one. I have two, BJ is the one pictured, he is like the most perfect dog. Doesn't beg, doesn't bark except as need be or on command, stays with me, listens, fetches the paper. I just love them. BJ is about 10. I am surprised yours is just now turning. Yes, I can see the resemblance to bones in your work, in a metaphorical way.
I live in a small hamlet in New Hampshire with my husband and son. It is a quintessential New England town with lots of character and history. We have a sweet golden and a black cat (did you know black cats are the last to be adopted?). I am making art again, after a break to raise my son. I have been away from my creative side for too long. I spent all my time on play dates and themed parties. I took my son to every art show and gallery I could find. I took him to music lessons and to live shows. I took him to plays and the theatre. I have tried to expose him to every food and culture I could find. I was obsessed with showing him all the different ways an artist can express themselves. We have lived all over the country and travelled as much as possible. Which is never enough for me!

Skeleton bones and pearls fit together so nicely. The jewelery is beautiful. I too like the juxtaposition of the pearls with the metal.
Thanks Tina, A fellow Etsy seller said the pearls feel look like bones the way they are attached.
I really like your Golden, Mine is 8. He is getting white around the face. I think I will post some pics of him today
