My friend and I were embellishing her vintage jacket. We found a cute boyfriend style jacket and she wanted some of my vintage lace on it. She loved the outcome. Then she suggested to me that I should offer 'appliques' for people to update and restyle their current wardrobe. I thought it sounded like a fun idea. So trying it out on Etsy and at a local fair.
Would love to hear your thoughts...

They are really gorgeous. I think they're a good idea. I've seen a few folks, like Emersonmade and Twigs and Honey, who just make pins, which you can easily arrange and pin anywhere and any way you want?
Off to check them out!
I was in LA last week.... had sooooo much fun!
Took my son on a food excursion. I love Little Tokyo and all the great noodle houses. My son invented the best desert... pom frozen yogurt with mochi, a perfect combo. My husbands loft was aross the street from the central market (sawdust floors) A great old building that was built in the 40's. My son loves pupusas and we found some fruit and vegetables that we have never seen before! I wish I had been more organized and had contacted you.
I also shopped the old fashion district downtown, got interesting samples.
Let me know when you'll be back! I'm house sitting a loft in Little Tokyo for all of May, but otherwise, I'm in and out of the city all the time, as I work in there.
Did you go to Daikokuya? That place is the best, but the line is always crazy long.
